Should you use rubber pavers are a replacement or substitution for brick or stone pavers? Why deviate from the tried and true. After all, how could rubber be better than stone or brick?

There must be reasons because rubber pavers are not only accepted but are increasing in popularity all the time. Whenever there is a deviation away from what’s been done forever there is resistance to change. Rubber pavers are not meant to totally replace stone or brick, but in certain cases they are the superior choice.

Advantages of Rubber Pavers include:

Other Advantages of Rubber Pavers Include an excellent reputation for being able to withstand the effects of high traffic areas and constant abuse. They can be permanently adhered to your surface or you can use the interlocking range of Rubber Pavers that can be removed and replaced with great ease.

Rubber Pavers are not affected by water, ice, snow or any extreme weather conditions. They are cool in summer, wont freeze in winter and snow will melt.

They perform well in both indoor and outdoor applications, for they can withstand extra heavy-duty use. Rubber Pavers are ideal for those high traffic types of applications, for they are outstanding in abuse-orientated areas.

Where Rubber Pavers can be used:

Basically, rubber pavers can be used anywhere you would use brick or stone pavers. The split versions are ideal over any hard surfaces.

They are great for:

  • Walkways
  • Play areas
  • Pool Decks
  • Garages
  • Horse Barns
  • Dog Runs
  • Etc…

Other applications include horse barns, wash aisles, tracks and paths, due to the non-slip features. Perfect for flooring in gymnasium rooms, playgrounds, walkways and driveways. Rubber pavers are great for around the backyard, on patios, verandahs and balcony floors.

The anti-slip feature makes rubber pavers ideal for use in supermarket aisles, selling floors, surrounding swimming pools, as well as nursing homes and childcare facilities.

With attractive final finishes that provide a virtually maintenance free end result, great safety features and amazing durability, it is apparent as to why rubber pavers are utilized in the construction of patios, walkways, driveways, horse barns and playgrounds.
